  1. Combine ingredients: Pour ½ gallon of apple cider and 2 cups of spiced rum into a gallon-sized freezer bag. Seal the bag carefully to avoid any spills. Place the sealed bag in a 13 x 9 baking dish to catch any potential leaks.
  2. Freeze: Place the dish with the bag in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 5 hours or until the mixture reaches a slushy consistency.
  3. Serve: Remove the bag from the freezer. Pour the slushy mixture into cups. If the mixture is too solid, allow it to sit on the counter for about 15 minutes to soften slightly before serving.
