Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • 1 (14-oz.) package Oreos
  • 1 (8-oz.) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup finely chopped Snickers
  • 1/2 cup chopped Reese’s Pieces

Coating Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons coconut or vegetable oil
  • Green gel food coloring

Decoration

  • Candy eyeballs
  • Purple sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oreo mixture: In a food processor, pulse Oreos until fine crumbs form. Transfer crumbs into a medium bowl and stir in softened cream cheese until well combined. Gently fold in the finely chopped Snickers and chopped Reese’s Pieces, ensuring even distribution.
  2. Form the truffle balls: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a small cookie scoop, form the Oreo mixture into small balls and place them onto the prepared sheet. Freeze for about 30 minutes until the balls are slightly hardened to hold their shape during dipping.
  3. Melt the chocolate coating: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut or vegetable oil. Microwave in ~30 second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is just melted and smooth—approximately 2 minutes total. Mix in about 10 drops of green gel food coloring, adding more to achieve your desired shade.
  4. Dip and decorate the truffles: Dip each frozen truffle ball into the melted green chocolate, coating completely. Use a fork to lift the ball out, allowing excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl. Place the coated truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press a candy eyeball onto the top side of each coated truffle and sprinkle with purple sprinkles for a spooky finish.
  5. Set the coating: Repeat dipping and decorating for all remaining truffles. Return the baking sheet to the freezer and chill for about 15 minutes until the chocolate coating is fully hardened.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature to mix smoothly with the Oreo crumbs.
  • Use a small cookie scoop for uniform truffle sizes, which helps with even freezing and dipping.
  • Microwave white chocolate carefully and stir frequently to avoid burning.
  • You can substitute candy eyeballs and sprinkles according to your seasonal theme or preference.
