Wrapper

  • Water for sealing the wrappers
  • Frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oil: Heat 1 to 2 inches of oil in a deep pan or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C), ensuring it reaches the right temperature for frying.
  2. Prepare Wrappers: Cut each egg roll wrapper into 4 equal squares to create smaller wrappers suitable for bite-sized pizza rolls.
  3. Prepare Filling: Chop the shredded mozzarella cheese into smaller pieces to allow even melting and mixing.
  4. Mix Filling: In a bowl, combine chopped mini pepperoni, pizza sauce, and the chopped mozzarella cheese until well mixed.
  5. Assemble Rolls: Place about a heaping teaspoon of the filling on the left side or center of each egg roll wrapper square, leaving approximately 1/2 inch space above and below the filling.
  6. Seal Edges: Using your finger, moisten all edges of each wrapper with water to help seal them tightly.
  7. Roll Up: Gently roll each wrapper up tightly around the filling, pressing above and below the filling to seal the edges securely.
