Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Base

  • 1 lb. good quality white chocolate

Candy Melts

  • 1/4 cup red candy melts
  • 1/4 cup orange candy melts
  • 1/4 cup yellow candy melts
  • 1/4 cup green candy melts
  • 1/4 cup blue candy melts
  • 1/4 cup purple candy melts

Additional

  • Toothpick or skewer
  • Rainbow-colored confetti sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the chocolate from sticking and set it aside for later use.
  2. Melt the white chocolate: Place the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it in 20-second intervals, stirring well between each interval until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  3. Spread the white chocolate: Pour the melted white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and use an offset spatula or the back of a spoon to spread it out evenly into a large rectangular shape.
  4. Melt the candy melts: In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt each color of candy melts (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) individually by microwaving in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth and melted.
  5. Apply candy melts to white chocolate: Drizzle or dollop each melted candy melt color over the white chocolate base in desired patterns or rows.
  6. Create swirl patterns: Use a toothpick or skewer to gently swirl the candy melts into the white chocolate to create beautiful rainbow swirl designs on the surface.
  7. Add sprinkles (optional): Sprinkle rainbow-colored confetti sprinkles evenly over the top if desired for extra color and texture.
  8. Harden the bark: Allow the chocolate bark to sit at room temperature or in the refrigerator until it is completely hardened and set.
  9. Serve: Once hardened, cut or break the bark into pieces and enjoy your colorful, homemade rainbow candy bark.

Notes

  • Use good quality white chocolate for the best flavor and smooth texture.
  • Take care when melting chocolate and candy melts to avoid burning by using short microwave intervals and stirring often.
  • The bark can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
  • Feel free to experiment with different colors or add your favorite toppings like crushed nuts or dried fruit.
  • If candy melts are not available, you can use colored candy coating or colored melting chocolates.
