Ingredients

Scale

Pasta

  • 8 oz linguine or fettuccine

Seafood

  • 1 cup fresh lobster meat, cooked

Sauce

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Finely chop the garlic cloves and fresh parsley to get them ready for sautéing and garnish.
  2. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine or fettuccine and cook until al dente according to package directions. Before draining, reserve 1 cup of the pasta water and then drain the pasta completely.
  3. Sauté Garlic: Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the unsalted butter until it becomes bubbly. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant but not browned, to infuse the butter with flavor.
  4. Add Cream & Cheese: Slowly stir in the heavy cream, mixing continuously to create a smooth sauce. Then add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese and stir until it melts completely and the sauce thickens slightly. If the sauce is too thick, adjust the consistency by gradually adding some of the reserved pasta water.
  5. Incorporate Lobster: Gently fold the cooked lobster meat into the creamy sauce. Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the skillet to add brightness and warmth the lobster through on low heat, being careful not to overcook.
  6. Combine Pasta & Serve: Add the drained pasta directly into the skillet and toss thoroughly to ensure every strand is coated evenly with the sauce. Garnish with the chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately while hot for the best flavor.

Notes

  • Use fresh or fully cooked lobster meat for best texture and flavor.
  • Reserve some pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.
  • Do not overcook garlic to prevent bitterness.
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese melts better and enhances the flavor compared to pre-grated varieties.
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the creamy sauce at its best.
